Woodmarks is an ongoing project documenting a small forest area in my home village in Germany, where I played as a child. As a managed woodland, it is undergoing change, trees are marked for cutting or protection, some are uprooted by storms. Every time I visit my family, a walk in the forest is inevitable, and we discover how the area has changed since the last time we came. This selection of images was shot over several years, in all seasons, using different camera formats and film material.
